An evaluation was conducted on the properties of solidified waste bodies formed from fine particles generated during the separation process of recycled aggregates, as part of the investigation into rational treatment and disposal methods for contaminated concrete waste at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Simulated waste bodies were prepared by solidifying cementitious materials with samples simulating the fine powder generated during aggregate separation from concrete. The properties of the simulated waste bodies were evaluated through uniaxial compressive strength testing and assessment of Cs-137 leaching behavior.
