In this study, I have proposed and am currently investigating a method to directly separate and extract 99mTc from a 99Mo–99mTc solution without the use of adsorbents. To evaluate the separation process, the iron co-precipitation method was examined using rhenium (Re) as a chemical analog of technetium to simulate the behavior of 99mTc during separation.
