Passive safety systems are increasingly adopted in High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactors (HTGRs), so it is important to conduct reliability analysis and risk assessment for these systems. At the same time, there is increasing interest in integrating security considerations to achieve a more comprehensive evaluation. This study aims to develop a methodology for an integrated safety-security probabilistic risk assessment for passive safety system in High Temperature Gas-cooled reactor, with a focus on the Reactor Cavity Cooling System (RCCS) as a case study. Relevant parameters that may affect the RCCS performance under a combined safety-security accident scenario are identified. A sensitivity analysis is then conducted to examine how variation in these parameters affect the safety indicators. The results provide a basis for subsequent passive system reliability evaluations and probabilistic safety assessments.
