A five-compartment electrodialysis cell incorporating the anion exchange membrane AHA and the cation exchange membrane CMB (Asahi Kasei Advance) was employed to investigate the migration behavior of metal ions in Cu/Co/Ni mixed solutions. The results demonstrated that ion transport could be effectively controlled, confirming the applicability of the prototype system to metal separation processes. Moreover, considering that actual radioactive waste solutions are typically handled in trace amounts, the device was further optimized to maintain stable separation performance under micro-scale sample conditions. These improvements provide a technical basis for efficient separation of trace-level waste solutions in future applications.
