Welcome messeage

We are honored to announce that "The International Meeting on Amebiasis 2024: Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and Evolution of Amoebozoa and Anaerobic Protists" will be held in Nagasaki on December 5-8, 2024. The International Meeting on Amebiasis was previously held in Mexico, India, France, Israel, U.S., Germany, and others. This year, we would like to invite you all to one of the most charming and famous cities of Japan, Nagasaki. 

Like previous amebiasis meetings, we would also like to extend our invitation to researchers working on other parasites including anaerobic protists and free-living amoebas to facilitate interactions among people working on different organisms with significant evolutional and biochemical similarities.

Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all the members of our scientific communities involved in studies and researches on these fascinating, medically and biologically important, and yet underrepresented parasites, for your enthusiastic contributions to the understanding of the biology, pathogenesis, and evolution of these parasites. 

We sincerely wish you do not miss this golden opportunity to visit Japan, particularly Nagasaki. Please make sure to spare some time before or after the meeting so that you can fully enjoy the beauty and the hospitality Japan can offer to the foreign guests.
