免疫チェックポイント分子の発見以降、がんに対する免疫療法は外科療法、放射線療法そして化学療法に続く第4の治療法としての地位を確立しつつある。今回我々は、核酸ナノ技術の1種であるハイブリダイゼーション連鎖反応を利用することで細胞内で長鎖RNA二重鎖をin situ構築し、がん選択的に免疫応答を惹起可能なシステムを開発した。本システムは副作用の小さい有効ながん免疫療法への応用が期待できる。
