腫瘍組織内には低酸素の領域が存在する。前立腺がん組織に存在する低酸素領域の前立腺がん細胞は高い悪性度を示す。糖鎖は、細胞のがん化や悪性化によって構造や発現量が変化する。特にO-グリカンは、がんの転移や浸潤に関与する。しかし、低酸素環境における前立腺がん細胞に発現するO-グリカンの構造とその機能は未解明である。そこで本研究では低酸素環境における前立腺がん細胞に発現するO-グリカンの発現と機能解析を行った。
