近年、タンパク質-DNA複合体が新たな生体機能材料として注目を集めている。本研究では簡便かつ汎用性の高い方法論の構築を目的に、タンパク質とDNAの静電相互作用を利用した光ラベル化手法を開発した。実際に、ベンゾフェノン含有DNAを用い、弱酸性条件で静電相互作用に基づく近接を惹起し、光照射することで、種々のタンパク質 (アルブミン、酵素、抗体) のDNAラベル化に成功した。
