[1PB-09] Creation of an artificial metal-sensor fluorescent protein using HemH chelatase as a scaffold

機能性人工タンパク質設計・開発の新規ターゲットの探索が重要な課題となっている。そこで本研究では、鉄ポルフィリン錯形成を触媒するキラターゼHemHの利用可能性を検討した。HemHの活性部位に疎水的空間と金属結合部位を併せ持つという特徴を活かし、疎水的空間に疎水性の蛍光分子を修飾し、金属イオンによる消光の度合いを評価した。
