磁性細菌は、バイオミネラリゼーションにより磁性粒子であるマグネタイトを精密合成しており、膜小胞と粒子形成制御に関与する蛋白質群が均一な粒子形成において重要であることがわかっている。本研究では、磁性細菌を模倣し、赤血球から作製したゴースト赤血球を小胞として利用し、磁性ナノ粒子であるCoPtナノ粒子の形成制御能を有する金属結合性ペプチドを化学修飾したゴースト赤血球を用いたCoPtナノ粒子の合成に取り組んだ。
