[MoD4-03]Transient Response of AlGaInP Micro-RCLEDs for Visible Light Communication

This study demonstrates AlGaInP-based micro-RCLEDs for visible light communication (VLC). By leveraging resonant cavity engineering, these devices achieve significantly faster modulation (13 ns rise time) compared to conventional LEDs while maintaining high optical power. Operating at red wavelengths optimized for VLC technology, the micro-RCLEDs are positioned as a practical solution for Li-Fi and automotive data links.
