[TuA2-03]Enhanced Strain Transfer in High Deformation Limit PDMS Substrates for Flexible Electronics

The low strain transfer ratio from flexible substrates to on-top materials and the limited strain that can be applied to flexible substrates have long hindered the performance of flexible devices. In this study, a superior flexible PDMS substrate exhibiting a high strain transfer ratio of up to 90% and a large deformation limit exceeding 30% is developed. Using the PDMS substrate, large strain and Raman peak shifts are demonstrated in monolayer WSe2.
