We have investigated the fabrication process for charge transfer complex thin films. It is easy to fabricate charge transfer complex by stacked liquid crystalline benzothienobenzothiophene (BTBT) layer and tetracyanoquinodimethane derivatives (F4-TNCQ) acceptor layer and short thermal annealing. After thermal annealing, F4-TNCQ molecules diffused into liquid crystalline BTBT layer and changed to charge transfer complex thin films. The transistors with the charge transfer complex thin films show air stable n-channel operation and mobility shows 10-4 to 10-3 cm2/Vs.
