In this study, we demonstrate a simple method to evaluate diode temperature dependence of thermo-radiative power generation using a lock-in amplifier. The short-circuit current of a InGaAs photodiode facing to a blackbody radiation surface was systematically measured using chopper blades with different surface reflectances. The results show that when a chopper blade with near-unity reflectance, such as an Au-coated blade, is used, the detected current closely represents the intrinsic thermo-radiative current of the device. This approach enables a simple and reliable evaluation of thermo-radiative power generation characteristics as a function of device temperature
