本シンポジウムでは，情報理論の研究アプローチに近い考え方を，A I・データサイエンス分野の研究アプローチに適応する試みについて概説する．統計学，機械学習，A I等のデータサイエンスの研究分野を個別に論じるのではなく，データから結論を導き出す過程を意思決定写像という数理的表現によって統一的な体系化について論じる．この体系化を用いてA I・データサイエンスの現在の研究を整理していくことにより研究の新たな展望が広がってくる．この視点から生み出されるいくつかの例を示し，現在多くの精力的な研究が行われている生成A Iの分野についてもこの統一的な体系化の中で論じることができる点についても触れる予定である．
