The Center for Sustainable Plant Innovation and Resilience Through International Teamwork (C-SPIRIT) is an international research center that brings together researchers from the United States, Japan, Canada, the Republic of Korea, and the United Kingdom to address agricultural challenges and develop sustainable farming solutions (https://c-spirit.org/). Focused on stabilizing global food production under a changing climate and increasing environmental stress, the center investigates natural products derived from plants and microbes to enhance soil and plant health, thereby improving crop resilience and productivity. Through international collaboration, C-SPIRIT will train the next generation of leaders in the bioeconomy and green agriculture sectors, contributing to resilient systems that strengthen global food security. In this symposium, six early-career researchers from the United States and Japan will present lightning talks.
