Laboratory automation,Strain engineering,Biomanufacturing
With the rapidly growing demand for a bioeconomy, synthetic biology is increasingly recognized as a key technology for constructing highly sophisticated microbial cell factories for biomanufacturing. To achieve this goal, high-throughput technologies for generating engineered microbial strains are essential. To accelerate microbial strain development, automated genetic engineering workflows are being developed worldwide. We are also working to establish a high-throughput automated systems for microbial engineering, which will be introduced in this presentation.
