[Mo-P2-C-05]Jordan–Block–Induced State Selection across an Exceptional Point in a Coupled Waveguide System

We propose deterministic optical mode selection via direct exceptional-point (EP) crossing in PT-symmetric coupled waveguides. A Jordan-block-induced coalesced state constrains the post-crossing initial condition, enabling robust mode control through detuning modulation without relying on EP encircling or bypass schemes.
