[Mo-P2-E-01]Optical Signature of Edge Magnetoplasmon Near-Fields in the Fractional Quantum Hall Regime

We report spatiotemporal optical signatures of edge magnetoplasmon near-fields in a ν = 1/3 quantum Hall state. Photoluminescence imaging reveals a transverse electrostatic footprint extending >10 µm transversely from the edge and propagating >200 µm downstream, uncovering the true spatial extent of these chiral excitations.
