Augmented reality is a new emerging application for III-nitride materials. Using the InGaN alloy, Red-Green-Blue micro-LEDs can be obtained in a monolithic integration for the realization of full color micro-display. Solutions to get efficient red emission and monolithic RGB emitters will be presented, together with their optical properties.
