[Th-A1-B-04]Impact of Spin-Orbit Coupling on Spin-Valley Relaxation in BLG/WSe2 Quantum Dots

Using an in situ switch in bilayer graphene/WSe2 quantum dots, we toggle the spin-orbit gap between 80ueV and 1.5meV. We find that stronger coupling unexpectedly increases spin-valley relaxation times to over 120s.
