[Th-A1-B-05 (Invited)]Gate-Defined Quantum Dots as Probes of Proximity Effects in Bilayer Graphene

Gate-defined quantum dots in bilayer graphene-based van der Waals heterostructures enable control of spin, valley, and layer degrees of freedom. We report on extending electrostatic confinement to BLG coupled to WSe2 and NbSe2, using dots as probes of proximity-induced phenomena.
