[Th-A1-C-03 (Invited)]Coherent light-matter interaction between THz on-chip resonators and electrons in semiconductor quantum nanostructures

We demonstrate coherent coupling between terahertz photons confined in an on-chip split-ring resonator and electronic orbital excitations in a gate-defined semiconductor quantum dot. Quantum-dot photocurrent spectra show a clear avoided crossing, providing evidence for hybridized light–matter states in the terahertz regime.
