[Th-A1-D-05]Real-space visualization reveals symmetry-governed nonlinear energy routing in a mechanical resonator

We directly image nonlinear energy transfer in a mechanical resonator using multi-harmonic stroboscopic interferometry. The result shows that efficient energy transfer occurs preferentially between modes with the same mirror symmetry.
