[Th-A2-B-03]Spatially Uniform Trion Photoluminescence in Suspended WSe2 Monolayers Fabricated by Gold-Assisted Exfoliation

We demonstrate the spatially uniform trion photoluminescence (PL) of suspended WSe2 monolayers fabricated by gold-assisted exfoliation. PL mapping at 7 K over 80 µm-long trenches shows trion energy variations of around 1 meV, indicating highly homogeneous optical properties over extended suspended regions without hBN encapsulation.
