We present the first realisation of non-local four-wave mixing in a state-of-the-art CdTe/(Cd,Mg)Te quantum well, enabling measurement of the spatio-temporal propagation of exciton density and exciton coherence, whereas only density diffusion is readily accessible with standard pump–probe techniques.
