The Lewis base additives into perovskite solar cells were employed and revealed suppressing the defects, eventually enhancing the performance. When the heterojunction photovoltaic devices were fabricated, their average PCE increased from 19.57% (pristine) upto 22.54% with diphthalic anhydride additive.
