[Th-P-40] Local Gap Variation and Fluctuation of the Magnetic Topological Insulator MnSb₂Te₄

Local gap variations one the few-nm scale in Mn-rich MnSb₂Te₄ are studied by scanning tunneling spectroscopy. The gap decreases with temperature and in-plane field, vanishes near the Curie temperature, and exhibits spatial and temporal fluctuations already at T_C/2, reflecting competing magnetic orders.
