Twisted bilayer 1T'-WTe2 near 60° forms a stripe-like one-dimensional moiré superlattice. First-principles calculations and an effective model show that lattice relaxation generates varying stripe width and a moiré potential, producing quasi-1D bands near the Fermi level.
