We investigate how structural composition tunes exciton fine structure in 2D perovskites. Organic spacer selection modulates exchange interaction, reorders bright and out-of-plane excitonic states, and links exchange energies to framework distortion, offering a route to optimize bright-dark splitting and emission efficiency.
