[Tu-A1-E-05]Fully Spin-Polarised ν = 1 Quantum Hall State at Sub-Tesla Magnetic Fields in Compressively Strained Germanium on Silicon

We demonstrate a fully spin-polarised ν = 1 quantum Hall state in a compressively strained Ge two-dimensional hole gas (2DHG) at magnetic fields as low as 0.25 T. A Zeeman-dominated energy hierarchy stabilises robust quantisation up to 1.5 K in the ultra-dilute 2DHG regime.
