[Tu-A1-F-03]Indistinguishable Photons from the Biexciton Cascade

The biexciton cascade in self-assembled semiconductor QDs can produce polarization-entangled photon pairs, but the timing-jitter in the emission makes them distinguishable. Using an open microcavity to Purcell-enhance one transition of the two-step-cascade, we investigate this effect in-situ, and create highly indistinguishable photons.
