[Tu-A2-C-02]Spatially Tailored Non-Hermitian Coupling in Photonic-Crystal Surface-Emitting Lasers for Power Scalability

We propose spatially tailored non-Hermitian coupling in PCSELs to resolve the pumping-extraction trade-off. We show that by rendering electrode regions non-radiative, photons are redistributed to radiative apertures while maintaining mode stability, demonstrating a scalable approach for large-area devices.
