[Tu-P-59]Sensing UV-C Photons with Layered Semiconductors Across Femtosecond-to-Second Timescales

Photodetectors based on the layered semiconductor GaSe are investigated for UV-C sensing across excitation timescales spanning fourteen orders of magnitude, from femtoseconds to seconds, and a wide range of optical powers. Measurements reveal a monotonic dependence of responsivity on recovery time.
