[Tu-P-80]Probing Degenerated Energy States Induced by Geometrical Symmetry in a Rectangular Quantum Dot

We investigate geometrical degeneracies in a gate-defined quantum dot fabricated on a GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure. Using an analytically derived electrostatic model, we design a geometry with a tunable aspect ratio. The device is integrated with a QPC charge sensor to study the evolution of degenerate states.
