[Tu-P-99] Where Does the Current Flow in the Quantum Hall Regime?

Where the current flows for the quantum Hall effect is still disputed. We answer the question by direct current measurements through an inner ohmic contact surrounded by carriers and performing multi-terminal current measurements. Our results contradict the idea of pure edge channel current for the plateaus but confirm bulk and chiral current flow.
