[Tu-P1-C-01]Integrated InP/InAs Nanowire WGM Cavities for Efficient Second-Harmonic Generation in SiN Waveguides

We integrated a compound semiconductor nanowire on a silicon nitride waveguide and observed second-harmonic generation (SHG) via its whispering gallery mode (WGM). The resonant field enhancement and surface-localized excitation led to ~200× stronger SHG than in an InP nanowire.
