[Tu-P1-C-02] Polarization Manipulation with Coupled Crossover Waveguides

Coupled crossover waveguides (CCWs) enable vertical waveguide coupling with in-plane misalignment tolerance. We numerically reveal their polarization-dependent behavior and leverage it to propose a novel class of vertical polarization splitters based on CCWs for three-dimensional photonic integrated circuits.
