Indium arsenide quantum wells exhibit strong spin–orbit coupling and high mobility, enabling ballistic one-dimensional transport and fractional conductance. Transverse electron focusing reveals Rashba–Dresselhaus interplay. Results are compared with high-mobility Ge quantum wells to understand material-dependent spin–orbit effects.
