[Tu-P2-F-01 (Invited)]Improving color centers with surface engineering and use them for sensing in solid state physics

We demonstrate interfacial engineering using oxygen termination and graphene patching to extend shallow nitrogen-vacancy center coherence beyond 1 ms. Enhanced sensitivity enables single nuclear spin detection and applications in solid-state physics including superconductivity and magnetism studies.
