Coherent control of a quantum emitter in atomically-thin WSe2 is achieved via resonant driving of its excited state. In addition to observed Rabi oscillations, longer coherence and higher single-photon purity are demonstrated - crucial ingredients for high-performance monolayer-based single-photon sources.
