[We-A2-C] Optical and Quantum Phenomena in Semiconductor Nanostructures

[We-A2-C-02] Two-photon Transitions as a Key to Band Offsets in InP/ZnSe Nanocrystals

We present calculated one- and two-photon absorption spectra for spherical InP/ZnSe nanocrystals. Our results are in excellent agreement with available experimental data and shed light on interface dipoles and lattice strain influence on the band offsets. We predict the effect of the two-photon linear-circular dichroism.
