My name is Ryo Kasuga, and I am the director and owner of the Planetarium Galaxy.My background is unique. First, I served as the head priest of a 425-year-old Japanese Buddhist temple and studied classical Indian philosophy.I'm also a magician and active in research, having served as an advisor to the Japan Association of Professional Magicians for 35 years.I'm also a singer who studied in Germany and Italy, and I sing in concerts and operas.I actually discovered planetariums at the age of five and wanted to become an astronomer, but for various reasons I became the temple's director.However, through singing, performing magic tricks, and explaining Buddhism, I became a professional communicator.In 1996, 30 years ago, I built the first planetarium in a Buddhist temple, possibly the first in Japan, or perhaps the world,to explain Buddhist teachings and various cultures. I've always thought about the problem of explaining things to people who aren't interested, and I want to talk about that reality
