This presentation offers an inside look at the INTUITIVE® Planetarium’s evolving approach to live, immersive astronomy programming. Since opening in 2019, the planetarium has transformed from delivering traditional lecture-style shows to producing dynamic, story-driven, data-rich experiences that center audience engagement and scientific relevance. Key topics include our modular live-show framework, real-time visualization techniques, integration of the latest astronomical discoveries through Data-to-Dome workflows, and the crucial role presenters play in shaping each show into a personalized journey of exploration. The session will also highlight collaborative partnerships with NASA and other institutions, our Dome-to-Phone initiative for extending learning beyond the dome, and our growing suite of outreach and global networking efforts. Attendees will gain insight into the practices and values that guide the INTUITIVE® Planetarium and how these strategies can inspire other domes to build programming around their own strengths and communities.
