Keywords:

This proposal is for a fulldome session that takes place in the dome and uses pre-rendered or scripted fulldome materials as presentation for speakers.
- There will be 2 speakers
- maximum number of participants: as many as chairs in the dome
- total time: 30 minutes
ABSTRACT:One of the reasons people enjoy live shows in planetarium, often more than movies, is because every live show is unique – you can visit planetarium a few times to see the same title, yet every experience will be different. That is because live show is – as the name suggests – alive. It can and should rely on the dialogue and interactions between audience and presenter. And it goes beyond just asking questions, beyond explaining phenomena Good live show presenters have performative tools they can use during their time with the audience. During this fulldome presentation we will show examples of things we use during our shows to engage and interact with our audiences and analise them to understand what these things can give us in our work with different audiences. We will take a look at the role of jokes, anecdotes, musical breaks, giving tasks and many more. We want to provide participants with a toolkit that will allow them to expand their skills. To make their shows richer and more enjoyable - not only for the audience but also for the presenters!
