Mixing sound for domes is a challenge because it can mostly not happen in the dome, but only on a laptop or in a regular sound studio. In this 45-minute hands-on workshop, Grammy-nominated immersive audio and music producer Tom Ammermann will demonstrate how to mix audio and music easily for domes, where loudspeaker configurations and reproduction present additional challenges. Tom will demonstrate the preproduction workflow and connect his laptop directly to the dome to showcase his latest Peter Shilling mix for Planetarium Berlin.
