ISS2026 Outreach Program for High School Students
As part of its outreach activities, ISS2026 will host a special seminar for 47 science-track students from Toyama Chubu High School on 2 December 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, at the Toyama International Conference Center.
Title:“Quantum Science, Superconductivity, and the Near Future We Create Together”
The program will feature lectures by Prof. Akira Fujimaki (AIST / Nagoya University) and Dr. Tadashi Takeshita (AIST), who will introduce the fundamentals of quantum science and superconductivity, highlight recent advances in superconducting electronics and quantum computing, and demonstrate how these technologies may shape our future society.
Following the seminar, the students will briefly visit the ISS2026 plenary venue and the industrial exhibition to experience an international scientific conference environment and learn about cutting-edge research and technology.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in welcoming these students during their visit as part of this educational outreach initiative.
