In order to accurately estimate the peak temperature of chondrites, Nakamuta et al. (2017) proposed the revised Lindsley’s pyroxene thermometer in which the kosmochlor component is newly added in the caluculation. Using the revised thermometer, they showed that the difference in temperature between Cpx and Opx in LL chondrites was less than 20°C. We have attempted to estimate the metamorphic temperatures of H chondrites (type 4 to 7) using the revised Lindsley’s pyroxene thermometer. Here we will report the results.
