The Oki Gneiss exposed in the Oki-Dogo Island (Japan) preserves records of c. 1.85 Ga and c. 250 Ma polymetamorphic history. In southern area, garnet in pelitic gneiss formed during c. 1.85 Ga metamorphism and chemically homogenized at c. 250 Ma thermal event. In northern area, garnet in pelitic gneiss formed during c. 250 Ma metamorphism.
