[R2-03]Crystal structure of low-symmetry cassiterite from Ohtani mine, Kyoto, Japan

The biaxial cassiterite was investigated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The systematic absence of reflections of the space group P42/mnm were measured on the both {231} and {111} sector. The structural refinement on the {231} sector was performed by the space groups of P2/m. The {111} sector may have different crystal structure from {231} sector.
